JAMES J."BUCK" YOUNG
James "Buck" Young, 74, of Panama City, died Thursday, September 13, 2007. He was born March 26, 1933 in Covington County, Alabama to Henry Clayton & Carlie Esther Young. He was a retired truck driver and had served in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Berdett Young and Harold Young and a sister, Gladys Agerton. He is survived by a brother, Harry Young and wife, Joyce; sister, Eva Dell Rogers and husband, Alton; 6 children, Richard Young and wife, Pam; Deborah Riley; Tracy Young and wife, Kim; David Lovett; Penny Lovett; Randy Young; special loved one and companion, Verna Dortch; stepchildren, Lois Holeyfield and husband, James; Agnes Richardson; Laverne Walters; Johnny B. Newsome; Billy Joe Newsome and wife, Edna; Wayne Newsome and wife, Michele; Sam Dortch and wife, Cindy; loving friend, Ellie Russo; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Raymond Williams officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10-11 a.m. Saturday prior to the service. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. in the Rock Hill Cemetery, Dorcus Community, FL.
