James Kinser Shelton, 83,of Panama City, FL passed away on Tuesday November 2, 2021. He was born on June 17, 1938 in Kowaliga, AL. He was a retired Mechanical Engineer at the Navy Base. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Voncile Shelton and one sister, Barbara Teague. He is survived by his wife, Jimmie Ruth Shelton; two children, Juanice Shelton Christian (Tom), Dennis Shelton (Susan); three grandchildren, Allie Shelton, Andrew Shelton, Payton Smith; two great grandchildren, Robbie and Annabelle. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 5, 2021 at 4 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lewis Miller officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3-4 pm on Friday prior to the service. A private family graveside service will be held in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Eclectic, AL. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to Emerald Coast Hospice in memory of James Shelton.
