JAMES E. SCOTT
James E. Scott, 73, of Alford, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2010. He was born January 14, 1937 in Panama City. He was a member of Fountain Pentecostal Ministries. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Leila Scott and brother, Jerry Nixon Scott. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Scott; 3 sons, James Jason Scott, Robert Bryan Cox, Kenneth Cox; 2 daughters, Cathy, Carrie; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and 4 siblings, June, Ralph, Winston and Joe. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terrell Nelson officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5 – 7 p.m.
