James Thomas Pledger, 68, of Panama City, passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 in his home.  He was born April 8, 1953 in Panama City.  He retired from the Bay County School Board after 30 years working as a Vocational Education Instructor at Tom P. Haney Technical Center.  He was a member of the Living Word Church. He was a talented musician and a Master Plumber.  He was preceded in death by his parents, James & Jenelle Pledger and a sister, Billie Pledger Glaze.  He is survived by his wife, Vickie Barnes Pledger; two sons, James Lindsey (Nikki), Jared Lindsey; granddaughter, Noelle Lindsey; two sisters, Cindy Pledger Lee (Steve), Janice Moore(Gordon) and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 10 a.m. at the Living Word Church with Pastor Hayward Miller officiating.
