JAMES LARRY MYRICK
James Larry Myrick, 69, of Panama City, passed away August 9, 2013 in his home. He was born August 29, 1943 in Panama City, Florida and had been a resident here most of his life. He was a retired meat cutter. He and his wife, Ruth, enjoyed traveling in all 50 states in their motor home. They also enjoyed cruising around the world. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joel Wesley and Christine Wilson Myrick. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Givens Myrick of Panama City; two daughters, Connie Hurst and husband Charles of Clarksville, Florida and Renae Seymour and husband Eric of Panama City, Florida; two granddaughters, Caitlyn and Caroline Hurst of Clarksville; two sisters, Marie Delaney and husband Dean of Michigan and Janice Jorgensen of Panama City; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Clay Grice officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Asked to serve as active pallbearers are Lamar Wilson, Wayne Wilson, Jimmy Wilson, Ronald Adams, Alvin York, Mark Silvey and Randall Shirah.
