James Leroy Marks, 79, of Panama City, FL passed away on Tuesday, January 21,2025. He was born on July 27, 1945, in Chico, California to Orville and Fern Marks. He served as a TSgt in the United States Air Force for 21 years. James was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Mary Louise Marks, and his parents. He is survived by three children, Dawn Stewart and husband John, Annette Marks, James S. Marks, and wife Christina; his brother Gene and sister Brenda Marks. James also leaves to cherish his memory 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Wilson Funeral Home on Thursday, January 30, 2025, from 4-6 pm. A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025, at 11 am in the Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, FL. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make donations to Wilson Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
