James Elton "Jimmy" Warren Jr., 75, of Panama City, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2015. He was born February 27, 1940 in Panama City. He was a 1958 graduate of Bay High School and attended Gulf Coast Community College and Florida State University. After college, Jimmy went to work as survey diver for the Army Corp of Engineers. He was the owner and operator of Warren's Taxidermy. He was preceded in death by his father, James E. Warren Sr.; mother, Louise Quickel Warren and a brother, Glenn G. Warren. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Panama City. He is survived by his wife, Melody Warren; 2 daughters, Beverly Todd (Kyle); Cynthia Joseph (Paul); son, Glenn M. Warren (Debbie); 9 grandchildren, Caleb Todd, Morgan Todd, Madison Todd, Sydney Hudson, Tyler Hudson, Micah Warren, Jacob Warren, Aaron Warren, Levi Warren; brother, George Warren (Kelley); sister, Sonja Veal-Volino (Tate) and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clyde Ellison officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. Active pallbearers will be his grandsons. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to the Building Fund at First Baptist Church of Panama City, P.O. Box 1200, Panama City, FL 32402 in memory of Jimmy Warren.
