JAMES FRANKLIN "JIMMY" HOFFMAN
James Franklin "Jimmy" Hoffman, 77, of Southport, passed away, Tuesday, February 8, 2011 in his home. He was born September 10, 1933 in Two Egg, Florida to Eddie and Louise Dykes Hoffman. He was a retired auto parts salesman. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Erma Jean Jennings. He is survived by his wife, Frances Hoffman; son, James "Woody" Hoffman and wife Sharon; two daughters, Linne' Pitts and husband Billy, Colleen Albright and husband Lee; 10 grandchildren, Kyle Pitts and wife Leah, Colby Pitts, Kami Baldwin and husband Shane, Rachel Hoffman, Britney Hoffman, Dylan Hoffman, Spencer Hoffman, Trey Turner and wife Erica, Keiffer Mond, Cruz Mond; 4 great grandchildren, Skyler Pitts, Alexis Pitts, Makay Baldwin, Gabbie Turner; brother, Robert Hoffman and wife Johnnie; sister, Myrl Moore and husband Leonard; mother-in-law, Nan Trobaugh and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday in Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. Keith Gann officiating.
