James Thomas "Jimmy" Dutton, 70, of Southport, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2014. Jimmy was born February 21, 1944 in Panama City to Maynard Frank & Ludie Lee Dutton. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. He retired from Chevron. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and spending time with friends and family at Howard Creek, hunting, woodworking and landscaping. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Kimberly Dutton McKay; and one brother, Charles Dutton. He is survived by his wife, Arica Sealey Dutton; a son, Kevin Dutton (Jeannie); four grandchildren, Kristen McKay, Klint McKay, Haleigh Dutton, Colby Dutton; brother, Bobby Dutton (Lori); two sisters, Marilyn Dykes, Betty Gaines; father and mother-in-law, R.C. and Joyce Vickers; sister-in-law, Marianne Dutton; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 – 7 p.m. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed.
