JAMES H. "JIM" PUGH

James H. "Jim" Pugh, 84, of Panama City, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2011 in his home. He was born November 9, 1926 in Pickens, Mississippi. He was very proud to be a Marine, who served during World War II. Mr. Pugh was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Joann Pugh. He is survived by his wife, Nan Pugh; son, William "Billy" Pugh and wife Debbie; four step children, Carole "Jeannie" Truluck and friend, Tommy Cato, Don Truluck, Dan Truluck, Lynda Stewart; three grandchildren, Jenna George, Kadey Purvis and husband Jamie, Eli Pugh; two special nieces, Faye and Lea Cantrell along with numerous other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 – 3 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 2322 E 3rd Street, Panama City, FL 32401 or to Covenant Hospice, 107 W 19th Street, Panama City, FL 32405 in memory of James H. Pugh.
