JAMES NATHAN "JIM" CARTER JR.
James Nathan "Jim" Carter Jr., 66, of Panama City Beach, Florida, died at home Sunday, March 2, 2008 from a lengthy illness. He was born November 13, 1941 in Charleston, S.C. He was the former owner of Tropical Express. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.N. & Hazel Bond Carter Sr. He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Carter, son, Nat Carter; 3 daughters, Donna Seago, Natalie Dunaway, Susan Force, stepson, Buck Carter; stepdaughter, Kim Smith; 10 grandchildren, Jared Carter, Crystal Hawkins, Ashley Hawkins, Luke Carter, Brooke Carter, Dylan Force, Bryce Carter, Brittany Crocker, Morgan Dunaway, Marshall Dunaway, 3 great grandchildren, Kaylee Anvez, Nathan Anvez, Mathew Anvez, step grandson, Taylor Smith; step granddaughter, Victoria Smith; brother, Randy Carter, 2 sisters, Judy Mattox, Nancy Smith, brothers in law, John Mattox, Jimmy Smith, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and beloved poodles, Zoe and Cody. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 6th at 3 pm in the Summerhill Baptist Church, 7189 Summerhill Road, Boston Georgia. Interment will follow in the Laurel Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Allen & Allen Funeral Home, Thomasville, GA, from 6 pm to 8 pm Wednesday March 5th.
