James Everett Curtis, 81, of Lynn Haven, passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2024.  He was born September 19, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois.  He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.  He was a retired charter bus driver.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Victor & Hazel Curtis; his wife, Carol A. Curtis; daughter, Agnes Curtis; three brothers, John Curtis, Richard Curtis, Skippy Curtis; two sisters, Linda Curtis and Ginger Stout.  He is survived by four children, Cynthia Curtis (Byron Hubbard), James Everett Curtis II, Wayne Curtis, James Anthony Curtis (Iren); ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren; three sisters, Carol Horne, Bonnie Bradenton, Vicky Perry ; brother, Tony Curtis and numerous nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 1 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 12 noon to 1 p.m. prior to the service.  Graveside services will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 in the Doctor Philips Cemetery, Orlando, Florida.
