James John Certalich, 86, of Wewahitchka, Florida passed away May 4, 2019 in his home. He was born July 4, 1932 in Bessemer, Pennsylvania. He served in the United States Air Force for 4 years. He retired from Sears as a service manager, working there for 28 years. He also worked for Alterra Sterling House for 10 years as a Maintenance Technician. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ignatz and Mary Certalich; wife, Ruby Nell Lumley Certalich and step-son, Andy Sanford. He is survived by his wife, Teresa Certalich; three sons, Gary Certalich (Lynn), Jack Certalich (Donna), and Coby Certalich; step-daughter, Sara Sanford; brother, John E. Certalich (Betty); four grandchildren, Shawn M. Certalich (Brittney), Rebecca E. Wellons, Kayla N. Certalich, and Aaron Jacob Certalich; seven great-grandchildren, Taryn, Lilly, Presleigh, Anthony, Leila, Emmalee and Christopher; favorite nephew, Wayne George; and close friend, Rev. John Davis. The family will have a celebration of life for Jim on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at 621 Baywood Drive, Lynn Haven from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Covenant Hospice in memory of Jim Certalich.
