JAMES WILLIAM BISHOP
James William Bishop, 65, of Panama City, died Monday, January 21, 2008 in his home. He was born on September 23, 1942 in Jacksonville, Florida to Cannous and Bertha Mae Bishop. He served in the U.S. Air Force, having served two terms in Vietnam where he received a Purple Heart. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Myong Ok Bishop. He is survived by his daughter, Holly Bishop Lawrence and husband Jeremy, son, Jamie Cannous Bishop, all of Panama City, two granddaughters, Emma Lawrence, Angelique Bishop and her mother, Melanie Creel, brother, John L. Bishop and wife Kathy, of Jacksonville. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5 – 7 p.m.
