JAMES W. COOPER
James W. "Baby" Cooper, 69, of Panama City, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2011. He was born July 24, 1941 in Panama City and had been a lifelong resident. He was a U.S. Navy Vietnam Veteran. He was a member of the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy & Hazel Cooper; brother, Dalton Cooper and sister, Betty Guy Cooper Sherman. He is survived by his daughter, Amanda Cooper. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5 - 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4001 W 23rd Street, Suite C, Panama City, FL 32405 in memory of James Cooper. Special thanks to the staff of the Chester Sims VA Hospital and to Emerald Coast Hospice.
