IRIS CAROLINE LOCKE SIMMONS

Iris Caroline Locke Simmons, 61, of Panama City, died Wednesday, February 27, 2008. She was born on December 26, 1946 in Grand Ridge, Florida. She was a purchasing agent for the Corp of Engineers. She was Baptist by faith. She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Nelson and husband Chris, of Panama City, eight grandchildren, Cliff, Brianna, Jesse, Jeremiah, Daniel, Lydia, Zechariah and Lyanna, brother, Melvin Daniel Locke and wife Junie. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Virgil Tillman officiating. Interment will follow in the Sycamore Cemetery in Greensboro, Florida. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 9 – 10 a.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Florida Baptist Children's Home, P.O. Box 8190, Lakeland, FL 33802 in memory of Iris Caroline Simmons.
