Inez Calloway Collins, of Panama City, passed from this life at home surrounded by her family on May 25, 2019. Inez was born in Graceville, Florida on April 23, 1931. She was preceded in death by her parents, Monroe and Eunice Calloway and her loving husband Cleavie Collins. She is survived by her brother, James Calloway (Sue), a sister, Lounell Hicks (Bob), three children, Glenn Collins (Elnora), Nell Herrick (Kenneth), Gail Burton (Kevin); four grandchildren, Kenny Herrick, Keith Herrick, Joshua Burton, Stephen Burton (Amanda) and nine great grandchildren. Inez was a proud member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church for sixty years where she volunteered as a nursery worker and was an active in WMU and was a Sunday School teacher. The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Vickie Harrell and her staff, the staff at Gulf Coast Medical Center and Covenant Care Hospice. She was a bright light to all she met and will truly be missed. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12 noon-1 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Oakland Cemetery.
