Huey Bozeman, 83, of Panama City, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 in his home. He was born May 24, 1931 in Montgomery, Alabama to Leon Maylon & Maybelle Bozeman. He worked for the United States Postal Service as a postmaster for 32 years retiring in 1990. He was a member of the Emerald Coast Fellowship. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Leon Bozeman, Dubie Bozeman; two sisters, Lucille Fuqua and Gladys McDermott. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Geraldine Hartzog Bozeman; son, Mark Bozeman (Susan); daughter, Debi Etter (Dan); 5 grandchildren, Jacob Bozeman (Thalia), Jesse Alterman (Dan),C.J. Bozeman, Jason Walker (Melinda), Rob Walker (Rocheida); 12 great grandchildren, Olivia, Lillian, Madeline, Steffan, Brantley, Colby, Christian, Lauren, Trenton, Anna Grace, LaVera, Autumn; brother, Pete Bozeman (Peggy); sister, Essie Mae Bachelor and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 12 noon in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Steve Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 11 a.m. to 12 noon prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
