HOWARD CHASE WIGGIN JR.
Howard Chase Wiggin Jr., 88, of Panama City, died peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Sunday, September 10, 2006. He was born August 5, 1918 in Bay Harbor, Florida. He served in the U.S. Army for 25 years retiring at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He was a longtime member of the St. Andrew Kiwanis Club. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Josephine Wiggin and a grandson. He is survived by his wife, Henri P. Wiggin; 3 daughters, Dorothy Wiggin of Panama City; JoAn Godbee and husband, Frank of Hepzihah, GA; Elizabeth Hutcheson, and husband, John of Anderson, S.C.; 2 sons, Howard C. Wiggin III and wife, Trudi of Hinesville, GA; Lloyd Douglas and wife, Jeannine of Panama City, 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Al Resnikoff of Panama City. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday. Those desiring may make a contribution to Covenant Hospice, 107 W. 19th St., Panama City, FL 32405 in memory of Howard C. Wiggin Jr.
