Honorine Damborino Brown, 85, of Panama City, passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021. She was born October 27, 1935 in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi to John and Margaret Damborino. She attended the University of Southern Mississippi, where she was voted Sophomore Beauty Queen. She loved gardening and was a Master Gardener. She also loved traveling for family vacations especially in Jackson Hole, WY and Alaska. Her true passion was gathering the extended family at her home on special occasions where she served elaborate meals. She will be missed by everyone who loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Margalo Quintini. She is survived by her husband, Clyde Douglas Brown Sr. to whom she was married 64 years.; three children, Doug Brown Jr. (Debbie), Janice Mathers (Lee), Michael Brown (Karen); six grandchildren, Michael Mathers (Ani), Chris Mathers (Alyssa), Wesley Brown, William Brown, Katherine Brown (Chris), Douglas Brown III (Melanie), six great grandchildren, Sam, Melody, Stella, Alex, James and Hayley.
Private family services will be held on Sunday, May 30 in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow in the Forest Lawn Mausoleum. Those desiring may make memorial donation to the St. Judes Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place • Memphis, TN 38105 in memory of Honorine Brown.
