Herbert Caswell Riley Jr.

Mr Herbert Caswell Riley Jr, a lifelong resident of Panama City, FL, passed away December 10, 2021, at his home following a brief illness. He was 95 years old. He was the son of Herbert Caswell Riley Sr. and Ann Vause Riley. Herb was a 1944 graduate of Bay County High School. Following graduation, he was drafted into the U.S. Army where he served in the European Theater with the 78 ^th Lightning Division. Directly after the war, Herb graduated from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, MA. After graduation he returned to Panama City and worked as a professional musician until his retirement. Herd may be remembered as the organist on the WJHG TV Daybusters Show, for which he played for many years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Margie Riley. He is survived by cousins and close friends.  Interment will be in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
