Henry William Tiller, 93, of Panama City, FL passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2021. He was born in Cook on East Bay, on June 16, 1927 to William and Ruth Tiller, with four older siblings (Anna Bell, Edward, Mildred, and Helen). He served in the United States Army in Japan after World War II and was employed by International Paper Company for 35 years until his retirement. He was an elder in the Wallace Memorial Presbyterian Church Session and later attended the Aldersgate United Methodist Church of Bayou George. Henry was preceded in death by his parents William E. Tiller and Ruth Douglas Tiller, and one daughter, Sara Jane Tiller. He is survived by his wife, Sara Hatcher Tiller; Joel H. Tiller (Lisa), John S. Tiller, Dock N. Haney (Ashley), and sister Helen Davis; grandchildren Amanda Burns (Mike), Caroline Knowles, Zachary Gray, AnnaBelle Tiller, and Audrey Tiller; and great grandchildren Cate Haney, Knox Haney, Hayden Burns, and Harper Burns; in addition, he was Uncle Henry to 24 nieces and nephews. Henry loved worshipping and Bible study, doing Meals on Wheels, coaching Little League baseball, fishing and hunting, and spending time with family. Private graveside services will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Meals on Wheels, c/o Bay County Council on Aging, 1116 Frankford Ave, Panama City, FL 32401 in his memory.
