HENRY WAYNE CARTER
Henry Wayne Carter, 63, of Panama City, passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2010 in his home. He was born July 12, 1947 in Panama City and had been a lifelong resident here. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a 1965 graduate of Rutherford High School. He was a general superintendent for Anderson Columbia Co Inc. for the past 15 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, James & Mildred Carter and a
brother, James Earl Carter. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Currie Carter; 2 sons, Brently Wayne Carter and wife, Brandy; Jamie Brandon Carter and wife, Brittany; 2 granddaughters, Sarah Carter, Katie Carter and a sister, Phyllis Sommers and husband, John. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Hankins officiating. Interment will follow in the Parker Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society in memory of Henry Wayne Carter.
