HELEN MORRIS ZEDIKER

Helen Morris Zediker, of Panama City, passed away Thursday, March 08, 2007. She was a resident of Panama City since 1934, moving here from Cuthbert, Georgia. She was owner and teacher of the Oakland Private Kindergarten for 22 years. She was an active member of the St. Andrew United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School, was a member of the Administrative Board, Widow's Club, Esther Club and a member of the choir for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, T. Preston Zediker, two daughters, Linda Faith Zediker and Marie Z. Fuller and sister, Evelyn Vann. She is survived by a daughter, Harriett Z. Corley and husband, Tom, of Phenix City, AL, son, Fred Zediker, Sr. and wife, Patsy, of Panama City, son-in-law, John W. Fuller, of Panama City, six grandsons, Philip Corley and wife, Evelyn, Chip Corley and wife, Trish, of Phenix City, AL, Kenny Zediker and wife, Missy, of Gray, GA, Freddie Zediker, Jr. and wife, Wanda, John Fuller, Jr., Chuck Fuller, Kim Mcduffie, all of Panama City, 16 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, eight nieces, Toby V. Joyce, Peggy Pons and husband, Gene, Ruth Howard and husband, Cecil, Maris Mcquagge, Glenda Evans, Betty Sweitzer and husband, Dick, Charlene Morris, Pat Delair and husband, Jim, Nephews, Josh Vann and wife, Donna, Jimmy Zediker and wife, Ann, Dr. Arthur Zediker and wife, Detra and Corkey Bowen and wife, Jackie. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the St. Andrew United Methodist Church with Rev. Ed Britton and Rev. Chris Cook officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6 – 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers those wishing to may make donations to St. Andrew United Methodist Church Endowment Fund in memory of Helen Morris Zediker.
