HELEN ERNESTINE TITUS

Helen Ernestine Laub was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois to Stephen and Aurelia Laub. After moving around a bit, she settled in Detroit, Michigan with her brothers and mother. She worked at Ford Motor Company in Detroit, Michigan. She met and married George Bertrum Titus in Detroit in 1953. They were married for 43 years. George preceded her in in death in 1996. She was also preceded in death by her older brother, Robert William Laub in 2000 and her younger brother, Frederick J. Laub almost one month ago on March 11, 2011. Helen is survived by her Nieces and Nephews, Lawrence M. Laub of Roseville, MI; Karen Laub-Dixon of Dayton, Ohio; Janet Laub-Saur of Grand Rapids, Michigan; Roberta Laub-Howard of Indianapolis, IN; and Stephen T. Laub of Oswego, IL. She is also survived by 10 great-nieces and Nephews and 1 great-great nephew. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Friday in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Wilson Funeral Home on Friday from 11:30 a.m. until service time. The family of Helen Titus would like to extend their grateful appreciation to Community Health and Rehab Center of Panama City and especially to her primary caretakers, Jennifer and Tara. We would like to extend our deep appreciation to Emerald Coast Hospice Care and the nurse and team that tended to her care and a special Thanks to Emerald Coast CNA, Charlotte, as she looked forward to her "spa" day that Charlotte provided. We cannot thank you enough for your tender care to our Aunt during her last days.
