Helen Burton Holder, 94, of Panama City, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023.  She was born May 23, 1929 in Birmingham, Alabama.  She and her husband moved to Panama City in 1971 where they owned and operated the Inn Paradise Motel on Panama City Beach.  She was an active member of the St. Andrew Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard & Alma Burton; her husband, Floyd Holder, two sons, Michael Blane Carlton, Daniel Howard Holder; grandson, Cameron Crouch; sister, Hazel Robbins; brother, Earl Burton; son-in-law, Scott Adkison.  She is survived by two daughters, Lea Ann Holder Adkison, Valeria Holder Crouch; four grandchildren, Bambie Anderson (Mark), Michael Carlton, Lori Hill, Lindsay Adkison; six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at 3 p.m. in the Greenwood Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 5-7 p.m.  Those desiring may make memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Helen Holder.
