Harold Eugene “Gene” Parris, 89, of Panama City, Florida and Asheville, North Carolina, passed away March 13, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Parris, his mother, Viola Parris, and sister, Glenna Dillingham.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa, his daughter, Kendall “Lee” Sanchez, his son-in-law, Jason Sanchez, his grandson, Calvin Sanchez, and his sister-in-law, Beverly Lawrence and husband, Gene.

Gene served his country honorably in the Army National Guard.

Gene cherished his time with his family and they cherished their time with him. He will be deeply missed.

A celebration of his life and accomplishments will be private as his family cherishes his memories.
