Gwen Sharon Morrison, 84, of Panama City, Fl. passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023. She was born on January 11, 1939 in Columbus, Ga. From the time of her birth, Gwen was a beautiful, unique, and special person-always our "queen".  She was generous with her love for family and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Walter Clifton & Addie Irene Driver "Mama and Daddy", mother, Helen Driver McCutcheon, a daughter, Sharon Smith, and brothers, William P. "Bobby" McConnell and Walter Gerald "Jerry" McConnell. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Euan George Maxwell Morrison; two children, Kimberly E. Smith (Jon McFatter), Loren Smith (Anita); seven grandchildren, William Jacob Fravel (Tori Ruckman), Carson Baylee Graham, Kennedy Grace Fravel, William Lorenzo Smith III, James Laine Smith, Felix Jackson Tiano, Sharon Anne Smith; three siblings, Jan Heartsill (Kimball), Judy McCutcheon (Lee Allen); nieces and nephews Walter McConnell, Justin McCutcheon, Courtney McCutcheon, and Carson Prochorski (Mat). Special gratitude goes out to niece, Melanie Smith Allen, and friend, Carolyn Battle, for their loving support and friendship. Memories of Gwen will be cherished and her presence deeply missed.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at 1 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike McFatter officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 12-1 pm prior to the service.
