GRAYDON SHERMAN BREWINGTON

Graydon Sherman Brewington, 60, of Panama City, passed away, Thursday, April 12, 2007 at a local hospital. He was born on March 22, 1947 in Robeson County, North Carolina. He had been a resident of Panama City since June 2006, moving here from Elizabeth City, NC. He was a retired audit supervisor for the North Carolina Department of Revenue. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Panama City, the Sudan Shrine Center in New Bern, NC, and the Elizabeth City Shrine Club, where he served in the Buccaneer Unit. He was also Past Master of New Lebanon Masonic Lodge #314 in South Mills, N.C. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Burton Brewington; mother, Emma Oxendine Brewington; siblings, Jerylane Brewington; David R. Brewington, Jr.; Daucey F. Brewington and his wife, Pat; Matthew D. Brewington and wife, Jan; Michael K. Brewington; Melissa Wittman and husband, Rock; Melanie Boyd and husband, David; mother-in-law, Edna Burton and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens with Rev. Clyde Ellison and Rev. Randy Kuhn officiating. Masonic rites will be conducted at the service. The Parker Masonic Lodge will open one hour prior to graveside service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3-5 p.m. Sunday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607-1460 in memory of Graydon Sherman Brewington.
