GRACE M. BUZIAK COOPER

Grace L. Massey, born August 30, 1918 in Boston, Georgia to Phillip Marshall "Marsh" Massey and Lucy Wilson Massey, from age one grew up in Thomasville, Georgia. She graduated from Thomasville High School. She later was employed at Eastman Kodak in Rochester, NY at which time she met Teddy Buziak SFC E7, who she married in 1958. He being a career Army man was assigned to Fort Carson, Colorado, then in Germany. They had two sons, John Phillip and James Walter Buziak, who survive. She is also survived by two granddaughters, Nicole and Melanie Grace Buziak. Sgt. Buziak passed away in 1974. Not until 1993 was she married to Harry C. Cooper, whom she had known many years prior and moved from Jacksonville, FL to Panama City. They were married in Holy Nativity Episcopal Church at age 74 years, where she was still a member until her passing. She was predeceased by two sisters, Margaret Eno and Helen M. Carter. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Holy Nativity Episcopal Church. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 – 7 p.m. Burial will be held in Perry, New York.
