Golden L. Hubbart passed away on August 3, 2019. He was 84 years old. He was raised in Illinois before he started his Navy career. In the Navy Golden worked his way up from an undesignated seaman all the way up to a CWO2. He served twenty plus years in the Navy before retiring. Although his Navy career was over, he continued to work as a contractor and then real estate after that. He didn't find his true passion until he retired all together. He was very active on his farm and enjoyed spending time with his family. Everyone that my father meets always had something positive to say about his character. They always said something along the lines of him being kind, caring, or just a genuine overall person. If he saw that you were sad or just not happy, he would always say something or do something that would put a smile on your face. Up until his death he was very selfless. He would do anything for his family even if it meant it would be a burden on himself. I can see you now in Heaven riding your tractor.
He is survived by his wife Ana Hubbart and a plethora of children and grandchildren. Kids are listed: Jesse Hubbart, Jamie Hubbart, Angel Harp, Christopher Hubbart, Golden Hubbart, Linda Hubbart, Dwayne Hubbart, Pat Rose, Patrick Hubbart.
Memorial Services will be held Thursday, August 15, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. in the NorthStar Church Panama City Beach Campus, 11901 Panama City Beach Pkwy, Panama City Beach, FL 32407. All friends and family are welcome.
