Gloria Jean Roberts, 77, of Panama City, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2020 in her home. She was born February 9, 1943 in Montgomery, Alabama. Devoted wife, mother, daughter of our Lord, she was a faithful friend to many. She is most remembered by them for her soft-spoken, gentle spirit, and a perceptive heart for acts of service, by her children for her fierce love, and by her husband for a life of self-sacrifice and devotion. She is preceded in death by her parents, Curtis & Annie Watson Hall. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Don Roberts; two sons, Scott Roberts (Annie), Tony Roberts (Claire), daughter, Robyn Roberts Cooper (Joe); seven grandchildren, and one almost-new great grandchild; sister, Patricia Bailey; two brothers, Ray Hall and Randy Hall. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 11 a.m. in the First Baptist Church of Panama City. The family will receive friends at the church from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. Those desiring may make memorial donations to the First Baptist Church of Panama City Building Fund, P.O. Box 1200, Panama City, FL 32402 or to the Florida Baptist Children's Home, P.O. Box 8190, Lakeland, FL 33802 in memory of Jean Roberts.
