Glenn Cooper III went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ Friday December 23, 2011.
Mr. Cooper was a lifelong resident of Panama City. He was the son of Sylvia and Glenn Cooper Jr. and the father of McKenzie Cooper.
He was an avid sportsman; Bubba loved outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting and golf. Bubba was a graduate of Auburn University School of Building Construction (but a Gator fan always); he was employed by Glenco Construction. He was much loved for his infectious laugh and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edith and Wallace Kendrick and Sue and Glenn Cooper Sr. He was also preceded in death by his uncle, Ray Cooper.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his beloved daughter, McKenzie and her mother, Marty, his devoted parents, Sylvia and Glenn, his sister, Paige (Jeff) Whitaker and her children, Hunter and Tara Whitaker, aunt, Joyce Moody (Jim), aunt, Cheryl Kendrick, uncle, Frank Kendrick (Kathy), aunt, June Lloyd (Bill), aunt, Joyce Cooper, cousins, William Pitts Lloyd Jr. (Jennifer), Jon Robert Lloyd (Nancy), Kyle Austin Cooper, R.J. Cooper (Robin), Courtney Cooper Cumberland (Chris), Matthew Cooper (Erin), Jay Moody (Amy), John Moody, Amy Kendrick Miller (Jeremy), Trae Lloyd, Cameron Lloyd, Kristen Miller, Allison Miller, Jon Robert Lloyd Jr., Hartey Cooper, Dawson Cooper, Jackie Ward Kendrick and many close friends.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 from 5:30 -7:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund or the charity of your choice.
