G.H. "Mack" McIntosh, 84, of Panama City Beach, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2015. He was born June 4, 1930 in Enterprise, Alabama to Alvie Lee & Matha McIntosh. He was a sales supervisor and plant manager for Meadow Gold Ice Cream Company until moving to Panama City. He served in the United States Navy during World War II. Upon returning to Panama City, Mack began his career in construction with his brother-in-law, James Barr. Later in his career, he started McIntosh/Myers Construction with his son-in-law Cliff Myers, where he worked until his retirement. Mack was a 40 year member of the St. Andrew Assembly of God Church where he served as a Deacon for 25 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Rev. Dwain McIntosh; his daughter, Rebecca Ann Weaver; three brothers, Clem McIntosh, Clyde McIntosh and Douglas McIntosh; and a sister, Mrs. Grace Barr. He is survived by his wife, Reba Kelley McIntosh; daughter, Myra Myers and her husband Clifford C. Myers Sr.; son-in-law, Harold Weaver; four grandchildren, Mathew Watkins, Clifford C. Myers Jr. and wife, Jennifer, Vivian Elizabeth Myers, William McIntosh "Mack" Myers and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the St. Andrew Assembly of God Church. The family will receive friends at the church from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
