Gerald L. Sprouse, 90, passed away on December 20, 2017 at Covenant Hospice, Bay Medical Center, in Panama City. He was born January 3, 1927 in Rector, Arkansas. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II aboard the U.S.S. Maryland. He was a retired architect for Norman Gross Architects. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Bryan Sprouse and a brother, Bill Sprouse. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Wymndham Shealy Sprouse; two sons, Greggory Lee Sprouse, Timothy Lynn Sprouse; three grandchildren, Suzanne Michele Deaton (Mark); Sharon Michaela Dollar (Garrett), John Bryan Sprouse (Haleigh); four great grandchildren, Elizabeth Shealy Deaton, Mariah Grace Deaton, Cadence Elizabeth Dollar, Bella Noel Sprouse; sister & brother-in-law, Harold & Lynette Dykes; nephews, Edward Dykes (Gail), Lester Dykes (Tara), Bruce Dykes (Maria). Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at 2 p.m. in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
