Georgia L. Ulmer of Panama City, Florida departed from her earthly home to her heavenly home on August 6, 2025. Georgia was born in Panama City, Florida on November 10, 1936 to Henry and Mattie Bevel. She was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church of Panama City and part of the Aldersgate United Methodist Church Family. She graduated Bay High School in 1954 and worked for Boyd Brothers for over 30 years. She was a strong woman of God who enjoyed spending time with family, gardening, and crocheting.

She is proceeded in death by her parents; Henry and Mattie Bevel, her sister Sara and brother in law Brooks Dean, and son Luther Calvin "Cal" Burleson JR.

To carry on her love and legacy is her husband of 21 years, Marvin D. Ulmer, Son Rusty (Carole) Burleson, Daughters Donna (Greg) Agans, and Barb (Chuck) Michael. Nieces Sara (David) Faulkenberry and Rachel (Mike) Thornell. She was Grandmama to Elizabeth (Tim) Commander, Jeramie Burleson, Colton Burleson, Tara (Bradley) Chamblee, Brittany (Chad) Paige, Brooke Kirkland, Laurin Michael, and Allie Michael.  She was a wonderful Grandma to her great grandchildren Maddie, James, Austin, Anna, and Kinley. She also leaves behind a host of great and great-great nieces and nephews along with her fellow classmates of Bay High School Class of 1954.

Celebration of life service will be held at Wilson Funeral Home on August 9, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. with burial to follow at Greenwood Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at 2:00 p.m.
