Georgia Ann Cruce Tucker, died peacefully at home on July 14, 2021. Ann was born in Dothan, Alabama on July 11, 1935 to the late James Vernon and Bessie Catherine Cruce. She grew up in the Cove, attended Cove Elementary School and graduated from Bay High School in 1953. Following marriage to Rev. Emory Green in 1955, they moved to Ft. Worth, Texas. During Emory's seminary years, Ann earned a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education from Texas Wesleyan University. Over the next thirty years, she was not only a devoted pastor's wife but a gifted fifth grade teacher. Although she never had children of her own, only God knows the young lives Miss Ann touched with her sparkling personality and love for each of her students. Ann loved her God, church, family and friends. She also enjoyed social activities, belonging to such groups as; As You Like It, Our Club, the Woman's Club, and the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army. She was preceded in death by her parents; former husbands, Dr. Emory B. Green and Robert K. Puckett. She is survived by her husband, Raymond B. Tucker and a host of family, friends, loved ones and her beloved toy poodle GiGi. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 19, 2021 at 2 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church of Panama City with Dr. Jeremy Pridgeon and Rev. Carl Fountain officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the First United Methodist Church, 903 East 4 th Street, Panama City, Florida 32401 in memory of Georgia Tucker.
