George Lloyd Schrader, Jr., 70, of Panama City, departed this life on Saturday, June 12, 2021.
He was born March 19, 1951 in St. Louis, Missouri to George and Patsy Schrader. He was the 1 st Certified Arborist in Panama City and the founder of American Tree. George loved nature and his greatest hobby was tagging local trees in Bay County and maintaining records of their progress. He loved to talk about his ideas to anyone that would listen. He enjoyed a good game of Chess when he could find an opponent, but a worthy challenge was always accepted. He opened his home to many people that needed a temporary place to live to get back on their feet.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Patsy Schrader, son, Jason John Schrader and grandsons, Joshua Lynn Harris II and Ayden Atticus Frail.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife, Rosemary Schrader, his sons, Chris Schrader (Becky), Wesley Schrader (Wanda), Joseph Harris (Tina), Joshua Harris (Jennifer); his brothers, Glenn Schrader (Donna), Mark Schrader (Debbie), Paul Schrader and sisters, Norma Martin (Mark), Ruthie Benjamin, 16 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
A family memorial will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at the home of Joseph & Tina Harris, 1224 Grace Avenue, Panama City.
