George Andrew Harper passed away on July 7, 2021 at the age of 49 at his home in Lakewood, CA. George was born on August 2, 1971 in Saigon, Vietnam to Ty Nguyen and Hugh Harper. He spent much of his childhood in Panama City, FL. George owned a Contracting business and took great pride in his work. He laid drywall for 25 years and his colleagues would say he was the best at what he did. George had a passion for BMX since he was a teenager and earned many medals in competition. He is survived by his parents Ty Nguyen and Hugh Harper, his sisters Hoa Harper, Michelle Leveski and Dianne Preston, his brother Jason Preston and cousin Zane Melvin. Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021 at 12 noon in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
