George Coleman Gay, 82, of Panama City, FL passed away on Saturday November 24, 2018. He was born on August 31, 1936 in Geneva, AL to William and Sarah Gay. He was the owner and operator of a heating and air conditioning business for 62 years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Mary Nell Gay; his parents; two brothers, Bill Gay and Mike Gay. He is survived by his daughter, Gladys Scollon; one grandson, William Scollon; and one brother, Jim Gay (Betty). Funeral services will be held on Friday November 30, 2018 at 2 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday night from 6-8 pm. Those desiring may make memorial donations to United Way in memory of George Gay.
