George Edward Barfield Sr. was born January 17, 1935 in Panama City, FL to Charlie and Lucile Barfield. On December 20, 2022, George was called home to be with the Lord. He passed away peacefully in their home with the love of his life by his side.

George was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by; his wife Marilee Fitzpatrick Barfield, children; Ed Barfield and wife Lori, Tod Barfield and wife Teresa, Melanie Mason and husband Phillip, 5 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, and 3 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held on Thursday January 5 ^th , 2023, at East Side Baptist Church, 236 Kraft Ave. Panama City, FL. Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. and the celebration of life service will begin at 3 p.m.
