Gene B. Williams, 77, of Lynn Haven, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2014. He was born on December 30, 1936 in Bay County. Gene was a plant manager at Boyd Brothers Printing Company for 47 years, retiring in 1999. He was preceded in death by his sisters and brothers, Juanita Armstrong, Johnny Raymond Williams, Roy Marshall Williams, Bettie Lou Williams Simmerman, Coleman Burl Williams and James Monroe Williams. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Patricia Griffin Williams; two daughters, Rita Williams Phelps (Randy) of Dumfries, VA, Barbara Williams Larar (Allen) of Virginia Beach, VA; three grandchildren, Heather Bautista of Fayetteville, NC, Angela Kitchens (Brian) of Leesville, LA, Jordan Larar of Jacksonville, FL; five great grandchildren, Brenden Bautista, Alyssa Bautista, Halie Kitchens, Katie Kitchens, Kensley Kitchens; one brother, Jack Ford Williams (Bobbie) of Warner Robbins, GA; numerous nieces and nephews; and a very special friend of the family, Clara "Mae" Roland. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
