Gene Paul Clarkson, 91, of Chipley, FL passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2024. He was born on April 1, 1933 in Rushville, Indiana to Raymond and Edna Clarkson. He served in the United States Navy. Gene was the Vice President for the Florida Drum Company and the Owner of Pensacola Rope Company. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Bobby Sue Clarkson; daughter, Paula Clarkson Berry (Jeff); son, Robby Clarkson (Kristen); grandchildren, Shelby Clarkson, George Berry and a loving extended family. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 29, 2024 from 5-7 pm at Wilson Funeral Home. A private family interment will be held at Greenwood Cemetery.
