Gayle Warnick, 66, of Panama City, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2016, after a 6+ year battle with ovarian cancer. She was an inspiration to her family, friends and those she worked with at Oceaneering, where she retired as a Senior Buyer.
She was born to Cabot and Dean Robinson in Verbena, Alabama, on February 26, 1949. Years later her family relocated to Birmingham where she later married her husband, Ed Warnick. Job transfers took them to Mobile, Alabama and then later to Panama City, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her father, Cabot Robinson, and her brother, Larry Robinson.
She is survived by her husband, Ed Warnick; 2 sons, Eddie Warnick (Jeannie); Brian Warnick (Tomi); 4 grandchildren, Zach Warnick, Cody Warnick, Taylor Warnick, Thomas Evans; mother, Dean Robinson; brother, Durby Cabot Robinson (Sandra) and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 25, 2016 at 12 noon in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Virgil Tillman officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 11 A.M. to 12 Noon prior to the service. Those desiring in lieu of flowers may make a memorial donation to the American Cancer Society, 4001 W. 23rd St. Suite C, Panama City, FL 32405 in memory of Gayle Warnick. Casual dress is welcome.
