Gary Eugene Calloway , 85, of Lynn Haven, Fl orida passed away on January 26, 2022. He was b orn on November 3, 1936 in Savannah, Georgia to E ugene Mill ard Calloway and Mittie Evelyn Barnes Calloway . He was pr eceded in death by his wife , Brenda Fay Kendrick Calloway.

He is s urvived by his daughter , Lorri Elizabeth Calloway Ruby ; 2 granddaughters , Jayanna Elizabeth Ruby Nycum (Luke Nycum )  and Leah Marie Ruby Webb. (Ira Webb ) ; 4 g reat g randchildren , Layla Grace Nycum , Ava Elizabeth Nycum , Noah Luke Nycum and Ivy Faith Webb ; two s isters , Barbara Calloway Gaddie and Cynthia Elizabeth Calloway Watkins . Gary graduated from Bay High School in 1956. After h igh s chool , h e proudly served in the US Army. Gary worked in the welding trade lifelong in t he Florida Panhandle.

Gary never met a stranger.

Gary was a very dedicated family man, he loved his wife, daughter , grand daughters and great grandchildren.

Gary loved The Lord Jesus and served him all of his life.

He was an avid Gardner and loved the outdoors. Gary was an American history buff with vast knowledge of history. Gary loved Baseball ⚾ ️ and was a lifelong Florida Gator Football 🏈 and Miami Dolphin fan.

A graveside service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery on Tuesday

February 1st at 2 PM.
