Frederick Shields Peckham, 83, of Lynn Haven, died on April 20, 2022.  He was the husband of the late Jeanne Marie Peckham.  They had been married for 35 years.  He was born July 8, 1938  in Utica, New York.  He was the son of Frederick E. & Leila Peckham.  He was in the Navy from 1955-1973 and retired a Senior Chief Petty Officer.  To make his day his friends called him "Chief".  He is survived by two sons, Frederick "Rick" Peckham (Dianna) of Chickamauga, GA and Michael Peckham (Christina) of Keller, Texas, four stepchildren, Joe Hillje of Ottumwa, Iowa, Kathy Wright of Cedar Key, FL, Kim Bundza, Wanda Woods, eight grandchildren, Linsey, Crystal, Sammy, Joshua, Rebecca, Michael, Joe and Derek.  Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 25, 2022 at 11 a.m. in the Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, 5622 Julie Drive, Panama City, FL 32404.  Interment will follow in the Lynn Haven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Friends of Sims at Clifford C. Sims Nursing Home, 4419 Tram Road, Panama City, FL 32404 in memory of Fred Peckham.
