Frederick “Fred” Lee Womack, 52, of Panama City, Florida, who is forever in our hearts, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2026. He was born January 11, 1974.

Fred graduated from Bay High School in 1992. He was known for his dedication to family and friends, hard work, kind, loving, and humble nature. He was an avid outdoorsman and lover of everything water related – boating, fishing and island time. He was a fantastic father, wonderful husband, mentor, coach and a loyal friend. Fred was employed with the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice for 26 years. He is survived by the love of his life of 26 years, Bethany Barnett Womack; children, Allyson Leanne and Andrew Loy Womack. Mother-in-law, Barbara Hardy, Brothers-in-law, Bart Barnett and Christopher Martin (Megan), Sisters-in-law Rachael Blocker (Adam) and Lisa Womack Solots. Nieces Bayley Barnett and Kendal Blocker. Nephews Luke Blocker and Chapel Martin. Along with extended family and special friends. He is preceded in death by his parents A. Loy and Marlene Womack, brothers, Michael and Matthew Womack.

The family will receive friends at Forest Park Church on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at 10 am with the funeral service starting at 11 am.
