Fredda Williams Cothran, of Lynn Haven, FL died November 13, 2014 after a long period of declining health. Fredda was born and schooled in Greenville, SC. After attending Columbia College, Fredda married Ted and provided the inspiration and support for his career in the Air Force. Prior to her health problems, Fredda enjoyed golf, bridge, boating, and all other social functions. She was an expert homemaker who perfected her skills while furnishing and decorating the 24 homes she and Ted had during their life together.
She is survived by her husband , Colonel Thurman D. (Ted) Cothran of Lynn Haven; a daughter, Kelly Johnston and her husband Duane of Colorado Springs, CO; a daughter, Laura Hilbert and her husband Larry of Colorado Springs, CO; a son, Craig Cothran and his wife Robin of Fort Collins, CO; two grandchildren, Alaina and Dylan Johnston of Colorado Springs, CO; a brother, Donald A. Williams and his wife Alice, of Lourmarin, France; and a sister, Gail Williams Speed, of Spartanburg, South Carolina.
The family appreciates the support they received throughout Fredda's illness and extend a special thanks to her caregivers, Lyn DelPrato and Kathy Addison.
Memorialization will be by cremation and the family will hold private services at a later date.
