Fred Thomas Rowland, 90, of Panama City, passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2023.  He was born January 6, 1933 in Hayesville, North Carolina.  He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.  He was retired from Civil Service and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Panama City. He was preceded in death by his wife, Robbie Davis Rowland; his parents, Carl & Bessie Rowland; and a brother, Paul Rowland.  He is survived by two children, Greg Rowland (Sheri) and Kim Strickland (Max); two grandchildren, Matthew Strickland (Kelsey) and Thomas Strickland; two great grandchildren, Jason and Abigail Strickland; sister-in-law, Jane Rowland; and two nephews, Chester Rowland (Linda) and Charles Rowland.  A private graveside service was held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.  In honor of him, contributions may be made to Samaritan's Purse or the Humane Society representing his love for others and animals.
