FRANKIE GAYNELL HAWKINS
Frankie Gaynell Hawkins, 90, of Panama City, FL, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012.
Mrs. Hawkins was born on June 26, 1922, in Greenville County, SC to the late Walter and Ettie McCauley. She and her late husband Boyce became residents of Bay County in the mid-1940s and were business owners of Hawkins Auto Wrecking. She was a longtime member of St. Andrew Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Allan Hawkins of Panama City, FL and Benny Hawkins (Floy) of Lynn Haven, FL. She was blessed with 5 grandchildren and their spouses as well as 5 great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Sybil Frasier (Lloyd) of Anderson, SC, and Margie Waters of Greenville, SC, as well as extended family in South Carolina.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 9 – 10 a.m. prior to the service.
